Willy Walton's FAQ:
How was Willy Walton's Chocolate Factory started?
WWCF was an idea that was put into action by the first crop of SIFE students at the University of Arkanas in 1999.
Along with our founding advisor, Dr. Rita Littrell (the Director of the Bessie M. Moore Center
for Economic Education and an expert in elementary and secondary education), our SIFE students developed a basic
curriculum to teach young children about free enterprise. Over the years the curriculum has improved considerably
and has come to include many other topics, including modules on ethics and currency conversion.
